BPS shines in CBSE Qatar cluster swimming contest

Birla Public School (BPS) delivered a stellar performance at the CBSE Qatar cluster swimming competitions 2025, held at DPS-MIS, Al Wakra, bagging as many as 99 medals, including 29 gold, 37 silver, and 33 bronze.
The four-day event witnessed intense participation from schools across the country, with events categorised under Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 age groups.
Vaishnav Ashok Kumar was the individual champion in the Under-11 Boys category, winning three gold and 21 points. Natasha Patman was the individual champion in the Under-17 Girls category with five gold and 35 points.
BPS was awarded the overall first runner-up position in both the boys’ and girls’ team categories.
In all, 43 BPS swimmers, comprising 22 boys and 21 girls, have qualified to represent Team Qatar at the upcoming CBSE National Swimming Competitions in India later this year.
