A group of visiting artistes, representing the Indian Council of Cultural Relations, gave instrumental performances and group dances at the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) in Doha recently.
Bipul Ray, Mayank Raina and Aditya Banerjee performed on musical instruments such as santoor and tabla while Narma Devi, Sophia Lisam, Chinglembi Y, Olnam Devi and Daisy Salam performed traditional Manipuri dance.
Indian embassy official Deepak Pundir, Indian Business and Professionals Council president Thaha Muhamad, and ICC president A P Manikantan were present. The event also promoted products from Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India.
