Saudi Arabia stressed yesterday that the continued unchecked Israeli attacks on Palestinians undermine international and regional efforts to achieve peace and lead to escalating tensions and a perpetuation of the conflict.
The kingdom expressed its strong condemnation of the ongoing violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities and extremist settlers against the Palestinian people, most recently the storming of the Al Aqsa Mosque compound and the provocation of worshippers, as well as the reprehensible attack on the Hajjah Hamida Mosque in the village of Kafr Haris.
In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that international silence regarding these practices and the failure to activate accountability mechanisms in light of the continued Israeli attacks and violations weaken the foundations of the international order and undermine the principles of international law.
