The casualty toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has soared to 69,785 fatalities and 170,965 injuries.The Gaza Health Ministry, on Wednesday, said that over the past 24 hours, the Strip’s hospitals have received the bodies of 10 martyrs, including two newly declared fatalities and eight whose remains were recovered.Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, the death toll has risen to 347, while those wounded reached 889, with the number of bodies recovered from under the rubble reaching 596 Palestinians.  Source link

8 Killed, 58 Injured due to Floods, Landslides in Sumatra, Indonesia

Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) announced that eight people have died and 58 others were injured in floods and landslides in South Tapanuli Regency on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.The BNPB stated that the disasters affected 11 sub-districts, with 50 houses damaged and two bridges destroyed by the floods and landslides in North Tapanuli Regency.Additionally, 1,902 houses were affected by the floods in nine sub-districts in the central part of the province, and thousands of residents were forced to evacuate.Earlier this month, 15 people died and eight others went missing due to floods in eastern Indonesia. Erdogan urges global pressure on Israel to allow Gaza aid

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 69,775 martyrs in addition to 170,965 wounded.The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that hospitals in the Strip received the bodies of 17 martyrs in the past 24 hours, including 3 killed by direct fire from the occupation army and 14 that were recovered, along with 16 wounded.The Ministry also indicated that since the ceasefire came into effect on Oct. 11, a total of 345 people have been martyred and 889 injured, while 588 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.It should be noted that even though more than a month has passed since the signing of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, the Israeli occupation army continues its raids and targeting of various areas in the sector, causing the death of more martyrs and the injury of hundreds of unarmed civilians. ( Source link

Four Palestinians martyred as occupation continues to violate ceasefire in Gaza

Four Palestinians were martyred and others wounded on Monday in Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza City and Khan Younis.According to medical sources in Gaza hospitals, one was martyred by artillery shelling in the Shuja’iyya area in al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City;Another victim was martyred by a drone strike east of Khan Younis, where two additional people were injured in the same strike, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.Meanwhile, a Palestinian also succumbed to wounds he sustained from an Israeli drone in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.WAFA reported that Israeli forces continue artillery shelling in the southern Gaza Strip and are detonating explosive-laden vehicles in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, in an ongoing violation of the ceasefire agreement.Israeli army also launched airstrikes and opened fired from tanks and helicopters northeast of Rafah.The toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 69,756 martyrs and 170,946 injuries since Oct. 7, 2023.The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on Oct. 11, following the withdrawal of the occupation forces from populated areas in the Gaza Strip and the start of the return of displaced people to northern Gaza, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s initiative to end the war on Gaza.
