Israeli warplanes carried out a series of raids today targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon.The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the Shi’ah area in Beirut’s southern suburbs, and another Israeli airstrike targeted the Saint Therese area in the same suburbs.In southern Lebanon, one person was killed when an Israeli drone targeted the town of Shebaa in the Hasbaya district. The Israeli entity also carried out a raid on the Al-Maslakh neighborhood in the city of Bint Jbeil in the Nabatieh Governorate.Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that Israeli airstrikes targeting the town of Tayr Debba in the Tyre district killed at least three and injured 15 others. Russia has prepared a draft resolution for the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East amid escalating tensions in the region.The document condemns attacks against civilians and urges the parties involved in the escalation to return to negotiations.According to a knowledgeable source cited by Sputnik, the document states that the Security Council calls on all parties to immediately halt their military activities and refrain from any further escalation in the Middle East and beyond.The draft resolution also condemns, in the strongest terms, all attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure and calls for their protection, emphasizing the obligations of all parties under international law, including international humanitarian law.The document further stresses the importance of ensuring the security of all states in the Middle East region and beyond. The death toll from Israel’s offensive in Gaza has risen to 72,133, with 171,826 wounded since the war began on Oct. 7, 2023.Medical sources said hospitals in Gaza received seven bodies and 17 wounded people over the past 24 hours, with several victims languishing under the rubble or lying on roads, as paramedics and rescuers are unable to reach them.The sources clarified that the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire on Oct. 11, 2025, has soared to 648, and 17,728 injuries, while 755 bodies have been dug out. The Ministry of Defence of Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that four drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Rub’ Al Khali while heading toward the Shaybah Oil Field.The statement was made by Maj. Gen. Turki Al Maliki, the official spokesman for the Defense Ministry, in remarks carried by the Saudi Press Agency.Earlier on Monday, the ministry said that a drone had been intercepted and destroyed east of the Al Jouf Region.It also announced the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base, in addition to thwarting two attempted attacks by drones after they were shot down north of Riyadh. The Qatar Stars League (QSL) Foundation announced the resumption of the Qatari football league, the Doha Bank Stars League, on Thursday and Friday with matches of week 18.In a statement issued this evening, QSL said three matches will be played simultaneously on Thursday evening. Fighting broke out when dozens of visiting Celtic supporters invaded the pitch to celebrate their victory. That sparked an incursion from hundreds of Rangers fans, who attempted to attack their Old Firm rivals.Fans threw missiles and fireworks. They continued to trade after police and stewards finally formed a barrier across the pitch. Police apprehended a man after Celtic players, including Tomas Cvancara, ran to the scene amid an incident involving a Celtic member of staff.Cvancara was later interviewed on television with blood stains on his strip, while Celtic right-back Araujo was pushed by a Rangers supporter. “An investigation will be carried out immediately in line with the Judicial Panel Protocol,” the SFA said as they condemned the “behaviour from supporters entering the field of play”.Celtic boss Martin O’Neill added: “As we were making our way back, I think there was some sort of fracas; somebody tried to get on the field.
