Bahrain said its air defence systems had successfully intercepted dozens of Iranian missiles and drones targeting the country. In a statement, the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said a total of 61 missiles and 34 drones were intercepted and brought down. It added that all defence systems remain on maximum alert to respond swiftly and decisively to any threat. The statement described the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian sites and private property as a grave violation of international humanitarian law, particularly the principles of distinction and proportionality. It said the attacks posed a direct threat to regional peace and security. Bahrain also reaffirmed its legitimate right to take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty and security. Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence announced that the country’s air defence forces successfully intercepted a number of hostile aerial targets early on Monday. In a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency, the ministry said the targets were detected and neutralized within central operations zones, under full readiness to protect the nation’s airspace, with no casualties reported. The statement added that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties and are prepared to respond to any potential developments to ensure the security and stability of the country. A fuel tank at the Port of Duqm in the Sultanate of Oman was struck by drones on Tuesday, with no casualties reported.The Oman News Agency (ONA), citing a security source, reported that a fuel tank was struck when multiple drones targeted fuel storage facilities at the Port of Duqm. The source added that the damage was promptly contained and that no injuries were reported.The Sultanate of Oman condemned the attack and affirmed that the competent authorities are taking all necessary measures to address the incident.On Monday, Omani authorities announced that an oil tanker was attacked by a drone boat approximately 52 nautical miles off the coast of Muscat, resulting in the death of one crew member.The Port of Duqm had also been targeted by two drones a day earlier, while four people were injured in a separate incident when an oil tanker was struck north of Khasab Port in Musandam Governorate in northern Oman.  Source link

Israeli occupation forces advanced hundreds of meters into southern Lebanon today, a military source told Qatar News Agency (QNA).The same source confirmed that the Lebanese Army has redeployed to several of its forward positions along the frontline border area with the occupied Palestinian territories, and moved to other points in southern Lebanon due to the Israeli escalation.He explained to QNA that the redeployment took place at points established during the past two months as part of the Lebanese army’s plan to reinforce its deployment in the south of the country.The developments come amid a state of cautious anticipation along the entire border line, given the continued violations and field escalation.  Source link

A fire broke out on Tuesday in an oil facility in the United Arab Emirates, as a result of falling debris following the interception of a drone by air defense systems. No injuries were reported.In a post on X, the Fujairah Government Media Office said that the relevant authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah responded to a fire that erupted this morning in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ), caused by debris from the successful interception of a drone by the country’s air defenses.The statement added that the fire was brought under control and normal operations in the area have resumed.  Source link
